MEMBERS. FREE SCHOLAR NATIONAL TRAINING AND LICENSING. OF DANCE SPORT COACHES/TRAINORS ‘The Philippine Professional Dance Sport Association (PPDSA), Inc. will conduct a PPDSA Members Free Scholar Training Program in Modern Ballroom and Latin American Dance Sports, ‘PAGCOR Cup” - PPDSA-AATD-WCDF-NDL-NDTC Open Dance Sport Tournament and ‘Governor Rafael P. Nantes Cup” ~ PPDSA-AATD-WCDF- NDL-NDTC World Open Dance Sport Tournament. The theme of the training is “Upgrading Ballroom Dance Teacher Competencies through Practical and Theoretical Research and Development”. ‘The participants may apply for membership on Day 1 of each Training and Licensing Congress. The following are the dates and venues of said activities: Dates Venue December 1-4, 2009 | Forum Hall, Casino Filipino Parafiaque City, NCR December 3-6, 2009 | Quezon Convention Center Lucena City In line with the proposed inclusion of Ballroom Dance Sports to the Pambansang Palaro, the PPDSA will also conduct a four (4) day live out Silver Associate Degree /Student Medal Level I-IV Ballroom Dance Sports Training and Licensing Congress both in Lucena City, Region IV and Parafiaque City, NCR for PPSDA member participants as coaches/trainors/adjudicators or competitors within the suggested “restricted syllabus” of the Palarong Pambansa Dance Sport events. ‘The participants to this activity are MAPEH or PESS physical education and school sports heads, supervisors, coordinators, dance educators, dance instructors, dance trainors, chorcographers, PE teachers, and the students of these participating teachers from both public and private schools. Each Congress/Tournament teacher participant is required to bring a USB Flash Drive or blank CD Rom and unless already a PPDSA member, each PPDSA member will pay @ registration fee: a) Adult - Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP2,500.00) and b) Student - Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00).
