1. For the following semester, I would like to focus on examining poetry a bit more.

I
now feel condent analyzing prose, but I lack in surveying poems. I want to be able to
identify different types of poems and their various rhythms. I want to know what effect
these different structures have on the meaning of the poem, and how I could personally
improve on my own poetry.

2. In addition, I would like to continue writing in my journalpossibly daily for greater
improvementand enhance clarity in my writing. As stated in my reection as a writer, I
feel that I lack in making a concise argument, due to my imbalanced passion for
descriptive writing. But by nding that balance, I believe that I can transform into a better
writer, adapted to various types of writing (i.e. poetry, creative writing, research papers,
etc.).
