Directions: The IB Learner Profile emphasizes global awareness with
the goal of creating well-rounded students who are citizens of the world, not self-centered around themselves and their own communities. This summer I am traveling to India and will be teaching Indian high school-ers about American teenagers. The goal of this program is to help Indian teachers and students understand American culture, and help American teachers to learn about another culture and in turn teach this culture to their future students.
With this in mind, it is your job to gather a group together of 4-5 students and create a PowerPoint presentation on your assigned topic. Your group will then present this topic and PowerPoint in front of the class on Senior Final Day (Thursday, May 29 th ). You will have two days in class to work: Friday, May 23 rd (after your IB Spanish Exams) and Wednesday, May 28 th .

Your PowerPoint should include: Interesting, non-blurry, school-appropriate pictures (of you, your friends, your style, your family, etc) Visually interesting slides Accurate & Knowledgeable Information Correct spelling and grammar Any clips (music, video, etc) must be imbedded into the PowerPoint and not linked from youtube, etc (since when I deliver your presentation to the Indian teens I may not have access to youtube, etc) Your Presentation should include: Every group member being a verbal participant in the Presentation Be knowledgeable about your topic 4-5 minutes long
There is no late work accepted for this assignment. Students who are absent will not be excused unless in extreme circumstances where prior notice has been given & approved of by Ms. Nobleza. In these cases an alternative Research Essay will be assigned.
