As an opening to the topic, remind Ss of last Fridays homework and show them the short trailer of the
flipped classroom (lesson being taught). (5 minutes)

Ss will learn how to form Conditional Type I+II sentences, which shall benefit them for the TOEFL
preparation.

In order for Ss to learn not only how to use this grammatical structure but also be aware of its
significance and meaning.

A. Basic Comparison (10 minutes) Written activity

Students are asked to fill in the blanks with the correct use of Conditional Type I or Conditional Type II.
They are asked to identify context and sentence structure.

Ba+Bb. Sentences based on a chain of events (10 minutes) Oral activity.

Students are asked to create their own chain of events by reflecting on their experiences, just as the
sentences suggest.
