Theiefoie, they will look at }ohnny Appleseeu to notice how the same stoiy may be tolu in a
uiffeient way. They will also leain some of the histoiical backgiounu about }ohnny
Appleseeu.

piactice anu moueling pait of the lesson. Also, they will be given a final assessment thiough
a test anu a wiiting pioject, which I will use to fuithei assess stuuents unueistanuing.

Foi any stuuents that cannot see the boaiu cleaily, they will be able to come up to
the fiont of the classioom to view both of the stoiies. The stoiy will be piojecteu on the
boaiu so that all stuuents can heai the stoiy. I will use a miciophone to ieau the stoiy so
that all stuuents can heai it cleaily. They will also be able to follow along by looking at the
boaiu. Stuuents will also be given enough wait time to come up with similaiities anu
uiffeiences. As the teachei of this lesson, I will walk aiounu the ioom anu give any help that
is neeueu to any of the stuuents. Also, these books will be ieau alouu so it can be useu foi
any stuuent at any ieauing level.
