Personalised Recipe: Angel Hair Pasta with Home-Made Pasta Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
For the Pasta:
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
Basil Leaves
400g of penne pasta
Pinch of sugar
Salt and Pepper, to garnish
For the Pasta Sauce:
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 onion, sliced finely
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 can of tomatoes
Salt and Pepper
A pinch of sugar
A few leaves of basil
METHOD:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta
according to the instructions on the packet.
2. Whilst the pasta is cooking, start to make the pasta sauce.
3. Pour the olive oil into the sauce pan and add the garlic and onions.
4. Saut for 6-8 minutes or until the ingredients are tender.
5. Add the tomatoes and basil.
6. Stir then take off the stove. Drain the pasta and plate the dish.
