Executive Summary


My project partner and I would like to request an interview with the head of Mentizzle Enterprise. We
would be asking about the way the staff uses technology and the strengths and weaknesses of the technology
used in the workplace. This interview is an assignment from my business and technology course at school. It
would be much appreciated if this offer was accepted.

Introduction


This report is about the way that Mentizzle Enterprises uses technology to enhance productivity in there
company. This report includes our cover letter that we sent to Leroy Miller (CEO). The Interview questions and
answers. The Executive summary and the thank you letter. Mentizzle is a project management company that has
helped companies use their time more effectively. Mentizzle uses Softwares like Primavera and Office Excel. We
hope in the future we can learn about this field of business.

3. What are your job responsibilities? Sales & Marketing, Consulting, Training and Mentoring
4. What skills are required to work in this position? You need good business management skills such
as: Negotiating, Planning, Time Management, Analytical, Computer, Knowledge of Construction and
IT Industries, Communication (written and oral)
5. What pre-requisite courses in university/college courses are needed for these opportunities?
Construction Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management
6. What are some benefits of using business information and communication technology at work?
(Increased productivity, increased communication, collaboration etc.) Without business information
and communication technology, it would be very time consuming to service my clients. Much of my
communication is done through emails. Large files such as project specifications and drawings are
shared through technology toady, which make us more efficient.
7. How does your company use business software and technology in the different departments (if
any)? For consulting we use project management software to plan large complex projects with a
high degree of accuracy. Our finance department uses MS Excel to keep track of time billed to
clients plus all business expenses including operating costs, subcontractors, etc.
8. Do you have computer security on all computers? Yes we use windows defender plus back up files
to external hard drive
9. What changes in technology have impacted your company the most? Changes in Microsoft
operating systems have caused us problems
10. What career opportunities are in this business? Planners and construction estimators are in demand
11. Are there any ethical issues with workers? Some worker take the job to get trained and then leave
when they find work with a bigger company, which creates issues with workload
12. Are there certain policies for workers on social network? We dont expect workers to spend working
hours excessive texting of checking Facebook. This affects productivity and quality of work.
