Before you use this device for the first time, please read the
following notes in this manual and heed all warnings, even if you
are familiar with handling electronic devices. Keep this manual safe
for future reference. If you sell the device or pass it on, it is
essential you hand over this manual also.

Intended Use
This wireless mouse, consisting of an optical mouse charging
cradle and USB nano receiver, is an IT device. The device may not
be used outdoors or in tropical climates. This product has not been
designed for corporate or commercial (e.g. office) applications. Use
the product in domestic environments for private applications only.
Only connection cables and external devices may be used that
comply with safety standards and the electromagnetic compatibility
and shielding quality of this device. This device fulfils all that relates

to Conformity, relevant norms and standards. Any modifications to
the equipment other than recommended changes by the
manufacturer may result in these directives no longer being met.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or interference
caused by unauthorized modifications. Only use the accessories
recommended by the manufacturer. Any use other than that
mentioned above does not correspond to the intended use.
If you are not using the device within the Republic of Germany, you
must observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.
Operating Environment
Position the wireless mouse on a stable, even surface and do not
place any objects on the device. The device is not for use in
environments with a high temperature or humidity (e.g. bathrooms),
and must be kept free of dust. Operating temperature and operating
humidity: 5C to 40C, max. 90% RH.
Always make sure that:

no direct heat sources (e.g. heating) can affect the device;

no direct sunlight or artificial light reaches the device;
contact with spray, dripping water and corrosive liquids must be
avoided and the device should never be operated near water,
and it must especially never be immersed (do not place any
objects filled with liquids such as vases or drinks near the
device);
the device is never placed in the immediate vicinity of magnetic
fields (e.g. loudspeakers);
no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed on or near the
device;
no foreign bodies are introduced into the device;
the device should not be subject to any sharp temperature
changes;
the device is not subject to excessive shocks and vibrations;

no metal or conducting objects such as paperclips, coins, keys,

nails or screws come into contact with the charging contacts of
the wireless mouse or the charging cradle. A short-circuit can
seriously damage your device;
Children and Persons with Disabilities

Electrical appliances do not belong in the hands of children. Also
people with disabilities shall use electrical devices accordingly. Do
not allow children or persons with disabilities to use electrical
devices when not under supervision. These people may not
comprehend the presence of potential risks. Batteries and small
parts represent potential choking hazards. Keep the batteries out of
reach. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical help immediately.
Keep the packaging away from children and persons with
disabilities too. as there is danger of suffocation.
Rechargeable Battery
Insert the rechargeable battery with the correct polarity. Never
throw the rechargeable battery into fire. Remove the rechargeable
battery when the device is not to be used for a long time. Nonintended use may cause explosion and danger to life.
Never use a conventional (non-rechargeable) battery instead of a
rechargeable battery. Only use rechargeable batteries of the same
type.

R/F Interface
Please switch off the appliance in airplanes, hospitals, operating
theatres and in the vicinity of medical electronic system. The radio
waves transmitted could impair the functionality of sensitive
appliances.
Observe a minimum distance of 20 cm between the appliance and
any pacemaker as the radio waves could impair the function of the
pacemaker.
The transmitted radio waves may create interference noises in
hearing aids.
Do not allow the appliance to be introduced in the vicinity of
inflammable gases or in environments subject to a risk of explosion
(e.g. paint shops) as long as the radio component is switched on,
because the transmitted radio waves could trigger an explosion or
fire.
The coverage/range of the radio waves varies depending on the
surrounding and environmental conditions.
In any data exchange via wireless connections, unauthorized third
parties are also able to receive the data. Targa GmbH is not liable
for any radio or television interference caused by unauthorized
modifications of this appliance. Targa furthermore accepts no
liability for the replacement or exchange of connection cables and
appliances not specified by Targa GmbH. The user is solely
responsible for the elimination of interferences caused by such an
unauthorized modification, as well as for the replacement or
exchange of the appliances concerned.

Repair and Maintenance
Repairs are required when this device has been damaged in any
way, for example, when liquid has entered the product, when the
product has been exposed to rain or moisture, when the product
does not work normally or if the product has been dropped. If
smoke, unusual noises or smells are noticed, power off the device
immediately. In this case the device should not be used further and
should be inspected by authorized service personnel. Please
contact qualified personnel when repair is needed. Never open the
housing of the device, or the accessories. Only use a clean, dry
cloth for cleaning. Never use any corrosive liquids.

Storing When Not Using the Product
When left unused for a long period of time, remove the
rechargeable battery from the wireless mouse. Remove the USB
nano receiver from your computers USB port and insert it into the
storage compartment of the mouse. Also make sure that the
storage temperature is maintained between 5 C and 40 C.
Humidity must not exceed 90% RH.

The wireless mouse has been tested and approved
for compliance with the basic and other relevant
requirements of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC. The
corresponding Declaration of Conformity can be found
at the end of this User's Manual.
Disposal of Old Devices
Devices marked with this symbol are subject to the
European Directive 2002/96/EC. All electric and
electronic devices must be disposed of separately
from household waste at established bodies. The USB
nano receiver is also an electronics device and must
be properly disposed of.
Avoid hazards to the environment and dangers to your personal
health by disposing of the device properly. For further information
about proper disposal, contact your local government, disposal
bodies or the shop where you bought the device.
Respect the environment. Old batteries do not belong in with
domestic waste. They must be handed in to a collection point for old
batteries.
Also recycle the packaging material properly. Cardboard packaging
can be taken to paper recycling containers or public collection
points for recycling. Any films or plastic contained in the packaging
should be taken to your public collection points.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the wireless mouse SilverCrest SOML
807 A1. Besides the 3 standard buttons, this optical wireless mouse
is equipped with five special buttons for easier access to frequently
used functions. The scrolling wheel is a tilt wheel enabling you to
scroll in horizontal as well as vertical directions. The special CPI
button (9) puts you in a position to toggle between the optical
resolutions of 800 cpi and 1600 cpi or between standard and media
operation. The wireless mouse features an automatic standby
function. When not using the wireless mouse for a certain time, it
will power off. Move the wireless mouse or press any mouse button
to power it back on (the drivers must be installed).

Hardware Installation
Inserting the Rechargeable Battery
Never use a conventional (non-rechargeable)
battery instead of a rechargeable battery. You must
never place the mouse on the charging cradle with a
conventional (non-rechargeable) battery inserted
into it. There is danger of explosion and risk of
leakage. Any leaking gases and liquids are harmful.
Please charge the battery before first use of the product. To do this,
insert the battery into the wireless mouse and then place the mouse
onto the connected charging cradle.

Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the wireless

mouse.
Remove the USB nano receiver (12).
Insert the supplied rechargeable battery (size AA) into the

wireless mouse and make sure that the battery is properly
aligned according to the polarity (+ and -) (see figure).
Close the battery compartment.
Press the On/Off button (13) on the bottom of the wireless

mouse to power it on.
Plug the USB cable of the charging cradle into a free USB port
on your powered-on computer. The charging indicator (10)
blinks. Please wait a moment until the charging indicator stops
blinking.
Place the wireless mouse onto the charging cradle.
It can take a few seconds for the charging process to start.

During charging the charge indicator (10) will light orange.
When the charging process is completed, the charging indicator
will light green.
If the indicator light (8) on the upper side of the
wireless mouse lights orange, the rechargeable
battery is exhausted. Then place the wireless mouse
onto the charging cradle.
Should the wireless mouse fail to work, power it off
and back on. Sometimes removing and re-inserting
the rechargeable battery will also help.

After inserting a rechargeable battery into the mouse
or powering the mouse on, the indicator (8) will flash
several times during automatic synchronisation with
the receiver. When the synchronisation is completed,
the status indicator will stop lighting.
The power for charging the battery is obtained from
the computers USB port. Depending on your
computer, the USB power may be cut when the
computer is powered off. In this case, you may only
charge the wireless mouse battery when the
computer is powered on.
Connecting the USB Nano Receiver
If you still have your old mouse connected to the computer, please
shut down your computer, disconnect the device from your PC and
restart the computer.
Connect the USB Nano Receiver (12) to a free USB port of your
running computer.
The operating system will automatically recognize the new
hardware and install the required drivers. Depending on the
operating system installed, the following screen messages may
appear:
Windows XP
When the receiver is connected for the first time, the operating
system displays the message New hardware detected. Wait
until the message The new hardware has been installed and is
now ready for use is displayed before using your mouse.
Windows Vista , Windows 7

When the receiver is connected for the first time, the operating
system displays the message Installation of appliance driver
software. Wait until the message The appliances are ready for
use now appears. The mouse is now operational and ready to be
used.

Software Installation
If you would like to use all of the functions of your wireless mouse
you need to install the software included. Insert the included CDROM in the CD-ROM drive of your computer. The installation
process should start automatically, failing that, start the CD-ROM
file "SilverCrest SOML 807 A1 Driver Setup V1.0.exe" manually by
double-clicking it.
Only with the operating system Windows 7, Windows Vista will

the installation initially be stopped by the user account control
function with the message: An unidentified program is attempting
to access the computer. Click on OK to continue with the
installation.
The following installation illustrations correspond to the operating
system Windows 7, Windows Vista . The windows shown in the
operating system Windows XP are slightly different, but their

content is the same.

Operation
Toggling between Operating Modes
The CPI button (9) puts you in a position to toggle between the
optical scan resolutions of 800 cpi und 1600 cpi. The scanning is
more precise at 1600 cpi and the mouse cursor will move faster
given the same movements.
If you would like to toggle between standard operation and media
operation, press the CPI button (9) and keep it pressed for a
minimum of 3 seconds until the power control lamp (8) briefly lights
up. Please see the list on page 1 for information on the functions
available in the media operation mode. In media operating mode
you can press the tilt wheel (7) to the left or right to adjust the sound
volume. While in standby mode the Windows audio volume can still
be adjusted by turning the scroll wheel, as long as the volume
window has been enabled in the taskbar.

All selected options apply to the default mode. The
button assignments for media mode cannot be
modified.
If you would like to apply your changes, please click on the Apply
button (the window will still stay open) or the OK button (the
window will close).
Tip for users of Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista (Windows

XP does not include this function):
You can also adjust the horizontal scrolling of the tilt wheel in the
system control of the operating system in the submenu Mouse.
The configuration menu of the mouse driver needs to be closed in
order to access the system control menu. These settings can also
be found in the software.

Attachment
Troubleshooting
If the wireless mouse is not being recognized following installation
or does not respond to input, please check the following:
Please check the polarity of the rechargeable battery.

Please check if the wireless mouse is switched on.
Check whether the miniature USB receiver (12) is properly
connected to the computer; see page 12 Connecting the
USB Receiver).
Try another USB port.

Please check if the battery has been charged. If the charging
indicator (10) doesnt light during the charging process, make

sure that the mouse is properly inserted into the charging
cradle.
Check
the charging level of the battery and, if necessary,

insert a new rechargeable battery.
Please note that you need to use a mat (e.g. mouse pad) if
you intend to use the mouse on a glass surface or glossy

surface.

Djeca se ne smiju igrati elektrinim ureajima. Hendikepirane osobe
smiju koristiti elektrine ureaje samo u odgovarajuim
okolnostima. Nemojte dopustiti da djeca ili hendikepirane osobe
koriste elektrine ureaje bez nadzora. Te osobe moda ne mogu
razumjeti mogue opasnosti. Djeca bi mogla lako progutati punjive
baterije i sitne dijelove. Punjive baterije uvajte na sigurnom mjestu.
U sluaju gutanja punjive baterije odmah zatraite lijeniku pomo.
Ambalau drite izvan dohvata djece i hendikepiranih osoba da se
ne bi uguili.
Punjiva baterija
Stavite punjivu bateriju pazei na oznake polariteta. Ne bacajte
punjivu bateriju u vatru. Izvadite punjivu bateriju ako ureaj neete
koristiti dulje vrijeme. Nenamjenska uporaba moe prouzroiti
eksploziju i ugroziti ivot.
Ne koristite uobiajenu (nepunjivu) bateriju umjesto punjive baterije.
Koristite samo punjive baterije iste vrste.

Radiofrekvencijska veza
Iskljuite ureaj u zrakoplovu, bolnici, operacijskoj sali i u blizini
medicinskih elektronikih ureaja. Radiofrekvencijski signali mogu
ometati funkcioniranje osjetljivih ureaja.
Udaljite ureaj najmanje 20 cm od sranih stimulatora jer
radiofrekvencijski signali mogu ometati funkcioniranje stimulatora.
Emitirani radiofrekvencijski signali mogu izazvati smetnje na
slunim ureajima.
Ne stavljajte ureaj s ukljuenim beinim pretvaraem blizu
zapaljivih plinova i na podruja pod opasnosti od eksplozije
(primjerice u lakiraonu) jer emitirani radiofrekvencijski signali mogu
prouzroiti eksploziju ili poar.
Domet radiovalova ovisi o radnim uvjetima.
Pri odailjanju beinih podataka postoji mogunost da neovlatene
strane prime podatke. Tvrtka Targa GmbH ne odgovara za smetnje
na radiofrekvencijskim ili televizijskim signalima uslijed neovlatene
izmjene ovog ureaja. Uz to, Targa nije odgovorna za zamjenu bilo
kojih kabela ili ureaja koje nije odobrila tvrtka Targa GmbH.
Korisnik je jedini odgovoran za ispravljanje smetnji nastalih
neovlatenim izmjenama ovog ureaja i za zamjenu drugih ureaja.

Popravak i odravanje
Popravak je potreban ako se ureaj na bilo koji nain oteti,
primjerice ako u njega prodre tekuina, ako je izloen kii ili vlazi,
ako ne radi ispravno ili ako je pao na pod. Pojavi li se dim, neobini
zvukovi ili mirisi, odmah iskljuite ureaj. U tom sluaju ne koristite
ureaj i odnesite ga na pregled u ovlateni servis. Popravak
prepustite osoblju ovlatenog servisa. Nikada ne otvarajte kuite

Spremanje proizvoda kada se ne koristi

Uvod
Hvala vam na kupnji beinog mia SilverCrest SOML 807 A1.
Optiki mi osim tri standardne tipke posjeduje i pet posebnih tipki
koje omoguavaju pristup esto koritenim funkcijama. Kotai se
pomie u 4 smjera te omoguava okomito i vodoravno klizanje.
Posebna tipka CPI (1) omoguava promjenu optike razluivosti na
800 cpi ili 1600 cpi odnosno na standardnu ili medijsku funkciju.
Optiki beini mi raspolae funkcijom automatskog iskljuenja.
Kada ga dulje vrijeme ne koristite, beini mi e se iskljuiti.
Pomaknite beini mi ili pritisnite bilo koju tipku na njemu kako
biste ga ukljuili (upravljaki programi moraju biti instalirani).

Ne koristite uobiajenu (nepunjivu) bateriju umjesto
punjive baterije. Ne stavljajte mi u postolje punjaa
s uobiajenom (nepunjivom) baterijom u njemu.
Postoji opasnost od eksplozije i curenja. Iscurili
plinovi i tekuine su tetni.
Napunite bateriju prije prve uporabe ureaja. Pritom stavite bateriju
u beini mi, a zatim mi stavite u prikljueno postolje punjaa.

Izvadite USB prijamnik (12).
Stavite priloenu punjivu bateriju (veliine AA) u beini mi i

provjerite je li baterija ispravno stavljena prema polaritetu (+ i -)
(vidi sliku).
Zatvorite odjeljak za baterije.
Pritisnite gumb za ukljuenje (13) na donjoj strani beinog

mia kako biste ga ukljuili.
Utaknite USB kabel postolja punjaa u slobodnu USB utinicu

na raunalu. Treperi indikator punjenja (10). Priekajte da
indikator punjenja prestane treperiti.
Stavite beini mi u postolje punjaa.
Prije poetka punjenja moe proi nekoliko sekundi. Tijekom

punjenja svijetli naranasti indikator punjenja (10). Indikator
svijetli zeleno kada se baterija napuni.
Ako zasvijetli naranasti indikator (8) na gornjoj
strani beinog mia, punjiva baterija je ispranjena.
Zatim stavite beini mi u postolje punjaa.
Ako beini mi prestane funkcionirati, iskljuite ga i
ponovno ukljuite. Takoer moe pomoi i ako
izvadite i ponovno stavite punjivu bateriju.

Nakon stavljanja punjive baterije u mi ili ukljuivanja
mia, indikator (8) e nekoliko puta zatreperiti
tijekom automatskog sinkroniziranja s prijamnikom.
Kada se sinkroniziranje dovri, indikator stanja e
prestati treperiti.
Napajanje za punjenje baterije potjee iz USB
prikljuka raunala. Ovisno o raunalu, napajanje iz
USB-a moe se prekinuti iskljuenjem raunala. U
tom sluaju bateriju beinog mia moete puniti
samo kada je raunalo ukljueno.
Prikljuenje USB prijamnika
Ako je u raunalo jo prikljuen stari mi, iskljuite raunalo,
odvojite ureaj iz raunala i ponovno pokrenite raunalo.
Utaknite USB prijamnik (12) u slobodnu USB utinicu na raunalu.
Operacijski sustav prepoznat e novi hardver i automatski instalirati
odgovarajue upravljake programe. Ovisno o operacijskom

Instaliranje softvera
Kako biste mogli koristiti sve funkcijske mogunosti mia, morate
instalirati priloeni softver. U tu svrhu stavite priloeni CD u CDROM ili DVD jedinicu raunala. Instalacija bi se trebala automatski
pokrenuti. U suprotnom dvaput pritisnite datoteku SilverCrest
SOML 807 A1 Driver Setup V1.0.exe na CD-ROM-u da biste je
runo pokrenuti.
U sustavima Windows Vista i Windows 7 instalacija e se

privremeno zaustaviti i prikazat e se poruka An unidentified

Rukovanje
Biranje naina rada
Tipkom CPI (9) moete brzo odabrati razluivost optikog
skeniranja od 800 cpi i 1600 cpi. Skeniranje na 1600 cpi
omoguava najveu preciznost.
Za promjenu izmeu standardnog i medijskog naina rada optikog
mia pritisnite i drite tipku CPI (9) najmanje 3 sekunde dok
nakratko ne zatreperi indikator (8). Dostupne funkcije za medijski
nain rada pogledajte na stranici 21 Pregled. U medijskom
operacijskom sustavu pritiskom nagibnog kotaia (7) ulijevo i
udesno moete prilagoditi glasnou zvuka. U stanju mirovanja
glasnou zvuka u sustavu Windows i dalje moete regulirati
okretanjem kotaia, dok god je prozori za glasnou aktiviran u
programskoj traci.

Acest mouse wireless, compus dintr-un mouse optic cu suportncrctor i un nanoreceptor USB, este un dispozitiv IT.
Dispozitivul nu trebuie utilizat n spaii exterioare sau n climate
tropicale. Acest produs nu a fost proiectat pentru aplicaii
comerciale sau destinate companiilor (de exemplu aplicaii de
birou). Utilizai produsul numai n medii locale pentru aplicaii
private. Trebuie utilizate numai cabluri de conectare i dispozitive
externe care se conformeaz standardelor de siguran i

Copiii i persoanele cu handicap

Dispozitivele electrice nu trebuie s fie accesibile copiilor.
Persoanele cu dizabiliti trebuie s utilizeze dispozitive electrice
numai n condiii adecvate. Nu permitei copiilor sau persoanelor cu
handicap s utilizeze dispozitive electrice dect sub supraveghere

Bateria rencrcabil
Introducei bateria rencrcabil respectnd polaritatea corect. Nu
aruncai niciodat bateria rencrcabil n foc. Scoatei bateria
rencrcabil atunci cnd dispozitivul nu este utilizat o perioad
ndelungat. Utilizarea accidental poate cauza explozie i periclita
viaa.
Nu utilizai niciodat o baterie convenional (nerencrcabil) n
locul unei baterii rencrcabile. Utilizai numai baterii rencrcabile
de acelai tip.

Oprii dispozitivul atunci cnd suntei la bordul unui avion, ntr-un
spital, ntr-o zon unde se efectueaz intervenii chirurgicale sau
lng echipamente electronice medicale. Semnalele RF pot
interfera cu funcionarea dispozitivelor sensibile.
Plasai dispozitivul la o distan de cel puin 20 cm (8 in) fa de
pacemakere, deoarece semnalele RF pot interfera cu funcionarea
acestora.
Semnalele RF transmise pot interfera cu protezele auditive.
Nu plasai dispozitivul mpreun cu adaptorul wireless pornit n
zone cu gaze inflamabile sau cu potenial exploziv (de exemplu, n
vopsitorii), deoarece semnalele RF transmise pot cauza explozii
sau incendii.
Raza de aciune a semnalelor radio depinde de condiiile de mediu.
Atunci cnd transmitei wireless date, este posibil ca aceste date s
fie recepionate de persoane neautorizate. Targa GmbH nu
rspunde de interferenele cauzate transmisiilor RF sau TV datorit

Atunci cnd nu utilizai mouse-ul wireless o perioad ndelungat
de timp, scoatei bateria rencrcabil. Deconectai nanoreceptorul
USB de la portul USB al computerului i introducei-l n
compartimentul de stocare al mouse-ului. De asemenea, asiguraiv c temperatura de depozitare este meninut ntre 5 C i 40 C.

convenional (nerencrcabil). Pericol de explozie
sau risc de scurgere. Gazele sau lichidele care se
scurg sunt duntoare.

Dac indicatorul luminos (8) de pe partea superioar
a mouse-ului wireless are culoarea portocalie,
nseamn c bateria rencrcabil este descrcat.
Punei mouse-ul wireless n suportul-ncrctor.
Dac mouse-ul wireless nu funcioneaz, oprii-l i
apoi pornii-l din nou. Uneori se poate dovedi util
scoaterea i apoi reintroducerea bateriei

mouse sau dup pornirea mouse-ului, indicatorul
luminos (8) se va aprinde intermitent de cteva ori n
timpul sincronizrii cu receptorul. Dup finalizarea
sincronizrii, indicatorul de stare se va stinge.
Energia electric pentru ncrcarea bateriei se
obine de la portul USB al computerului. n funcie de
computer, este posibil ca alimentarea de la portul
USB s se ntrerup atunci cnd computerul este
oprit. n acest caz, putei ncrca bateria mouse-ului
wireless numai atunci cnd computerul este pornit.
Conectarea nanoreceptorului USB
Dac vechiul mouse este conectat n continuare la computer,
nchidei computerul, deconectai dispozitivul de la PC i apoi
repornii computerul.
Conectai nanoreceptorul USB (12) ntr-un port USB liber al
computerului pornit.
Sistemul de operare va detecta dispozitivul nou i va instala
automat driverele corespunztoare. n funcie de sistemul de
operare, se va afia unul dintre urmtoarele mesaje:
Windows XP
La prima conectare a receptorului, sistemul de operare va afia
mesajul Found New Hardware (Hardware nou detectat). nainte
de a utiliza mouse-ul, ateptai s se afieze mesajul Your new
hardware is installed and ready to use (Noul hardware este
instalat i pregtit de utilizare).

La prima conectare a receptorului, sistemul de operare va afia
mesajul Installing device driver software (Se instaleaz driverul
dispozitivului). Ateptai s se afieze mesajul You may start
using the devices now (Putei ncepe acum utilizarea

dispozitivelor). Mouse-ul este acum configurat cu succes i poate
fi utilizat.
Instalarea software-ului
Pentru a putea utiliza toate capabilitile funcionale ale mouse-ului,
trebuie s instalai software-ul furnizat. Pentru aceasta, introducei
CD-ROM-ul furnizat n unitatea CD-ROM a computerului. Procesul
de instalare ar trebui s porneasc automat; n caz contrar, facei
dublu clic pe fiierul SilverCrest SOML 807 A1 Driver Setup
V1.0.exe de pe CD-ROM pentru pornirea manual a instalrii.
Numai n cazul sistemelor de operare Windows Vista i Windows

7, instalarea se va bloca temporar i se va afia mesajul An
unidentified program is trying to access the computer (Un program
neidentificat ncearc s acceseze computerul. Pentru a continua
instalarea, facei clic pe Allow (Se permite).

Utilizare
Schimbarea modului de funcionare
Utilizai butonul CPI (9) pentru a comuta rapid ntre rezoluiile 800
cpi i 1600 cpi pentru urmrire optic. Urmrirea la 1600 cpi
permite o precizie sporit.
Pentru a comuta ntre modurile de funcionare standard i media,
apsai i meninei apsat butonul CPI (9) cel puin 3 secunde,
pn cnd indicatorul luminos (8) se aprinde intermitent pentru
scurt timp. Funciile disponibile pentru modul media sunt listate la
pagina 40 Prezentare general. n modul de funcionare media,
putei s apsai pe butonul rotativ multidirecional (7) la stnga sau
la dreapta pentru a ajusta volumul sunetului. n modul Standby,
volumul audio din Windows poate fi n continuare ajustat prin
micarea butonului rotativ att timp ct fereastra de volum a fost
activat n bara de activiti.

Diese Funkmaus, bestehend aus optischer Maus mit Ladeschale
und Nano-USB-Empfnger, ist ein Gert der InformationsTechnologie. Das Gert darf nicht auerhalb von geschlossenen

Elektrische Gerte gehren nicht in Kinderhnde. Auch Personen
mit Einschrnkungen sollten elektrische Gerte nur angemessen

niemals unbeaufsichtigt elektrische Gerte benutzen. Diese

Akku
Legen Sie den Akku stets polrichtig ein. Werfen Sie den Akku unter
keinen Umstnden ins Feuer. Entnehmen Sie den Akku, wenn Sie
das Gert ber einen lngeren Zeitraum nicht verwenden. Bei
unsachgemem Gebrauch besteht Explosions- und Auslaufgefahr.

Akkus. Es drfen nur baugleiche Akkus verwendet werden.
Funkschnittstelle
Schalten Sie das Gert aus, wenn Sie sich in einem Flugzeug, in
einem Krankenhaus, einem Operationssaal oder in der Nhe eines
medizinischen Elektroniksystems befinden. Die bertragenen
Funkwellen knnen empfindliche Gerte in ihrer Funktion
beeintrchtigen.
Halten Sie das Gert mindestens 20cm von einem Herzschrittmacher fern, da sonst die ordnungsgemen Funktionen des
Herzschrittmachers durch Funkwellen beeintrchtigt werden
knnen.
Die bertragenen Funkwellen knnen Strgerusche in Hrgerten
verursachen.
Bringen Sie das Gert nicht mit eingeschalteter Funkkomponente in
die Nhe entflammbarer Gase oder in eine explosionsgefhrdete
Umgebung (z.B. Lackiererei), da die bertragenen Funkwellen eine
Explosion oder ein Feuer auslsen knnen.
Die Reichweite der Funkwellen ist abhngig von Umwelt- und
Umgebungsbedingungen.
Bei Datenverkehr ber eine drahtlose Verbindung ist es auch
unberechtigten Dritten mglich, Daten zu empfangen. Die Targa
GmbH ist nicht fr Funk- oder Fernsehstrungen verantwortlich, die
durch unerlaubte nderungen an diesem Gert verursacht wurden.
Targa bernimmt ferner keine Verantwortung fr den Ersatz bzw.
den Austausch von Anschlussleitungen und Gerten, die nicht von
der Targa GmbH angegeben wurden. Fr die Behebung von
Strungen, die durch eine derartige unerlaubte nderung
hervorgerufen wurden, und fr den Ersatz bzw. den Austausch der
Gerte ist allein der Benutzer verantwortlich.

Reparatur und Pflege
Reparaturarbeiten sind erforderlich, wenn das Gert beschdigt
wurde, Flssigkeit oder Gegenstnde ins Innere des Gehuses
gelangt sind, es Regen oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde oder
wenn es nicht einwandfrei funktioniert oder heruntergefallen ist.
Falls Sie Rauchentwicklung, ungewhnliche Gerusche oder
Gerche feststellen, schalten Sie das Gert sofort aus. In diesen
Fllen darf das Gert nicht weiter verwendet werden, bevor eine
berprfung durch einen Fachmann durchgefhrt wurde. Lassen
Sie alle Reparaturen nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal
durchfhren. ffnen Sie niemals das Gehuse des Gertes oder
des Zubehrs. Reinigen Sie das Gert nur mit einem sauberen,

Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung
Wenn Sie das Gert fr einen lngeren Zeitraum nicht einsetzen
mchten, entnehmen Sie bitte den Akku aus der Funkmaus.
Entfernen Sie den USB-Nano-Empfnger vom USB-Port Ihres
Computers und legen Sie ihn in die Aufbewahrungsmulde innerhalb
der Funkmaus. Achten Sie auerdem darauf, dass die
Lagertemperatur im Bereich zwischen 5 C und 40 C bleibt. Die
Luftfeuchtigkeit darf 90% rel. Feuchte nicht berschreiten.

Stellen entsorgt werden. Auch der USB-NanoEmpfnger ist ein elektronisches Gert und muss

Einleitung
Vielen Dank fr den Kauf der Funkmaus SilverCrest SOML 807 A1.
Diese optische Funkmaus ist, neben den 3 Standard-Tasten, mit
fnf Sondertasten ausgestattet, die Ihnen Zugriff auf hufig
wiederkehrende Funktionen ermglichen. Das Scrollrad ist ein
4- Wege-Scrollrad, das sowohl den vertikalen wie auch den
horizontalen Bildlauf ermglicht. Mit der Sondertaste CPI (9)
knnen Sie die optische Auflsung zwischen 800 cpi und 1600 cpi
wechseln oder zwischen dem Standard- und Mediabetrieb
wechseln. Diese optische Funkmaus ist auerdem mit einer
automatischen Standby-Funktion versehen. Wenn die Funkmaus
einige Zeit nicht verwendet wird, schaltet sie sich aus. Bewegen Sie
die Funkmaus oder drcken Sie eine beliebige Taste der
Funkmaus, um sie wieder einzuschalten (Treiber mssen installiert
sein).

Akku einlegen
Verwenden Sie niemals eine nicht aufladbare
Batterie anstelle des Akkus. Die Funkmaus darf
niemals mit einer nicht aufladbaren Batterie in die
Ladestation gestellt werden. Es besteht Explosionsund Auslaufgefahr! Dabei austretende Gase und
Flssigkeiten sind gesundheitsschdlich.
Vor der ersten Verwendung des Gertes laden Sie den Akku
vollstndig auf. Legen Sie den Akku dazu in die Funkmaus ein und
stellen Sie dann die Funkmaus in die angeschlossene Ladestation.

Entnehmen Sie den USB-Nano-Empfnger (12).
Legen Sie den beiliegenden Akku vom Typ AA polrichtig

(+ und beachten) in die Funkmaus ein (siehe Abbildung).
Schlieen Sie das Akkufach.
Schalten Sie die Funkmaus am Ein-/Ausschalter (13) an der

Unterseite ein.
Schlieen Sie das USB-Anschlusskabel der Ladestation an

einen freien USB-Anschluss Ihres eingeschalteten Computers
an. Die Ladekontrollleuchte (10) blinkt. Warten Sie bitte kurz,
bis die Ladekontrollleuchte nicht mehr blinkt.
Stellen Sie die Funkmaus in die Ladestation.
Es kann ein paar Sekunden dauern, bis der Ladevorgang

beginnt.
Whrend
des
Ladevorgangs
leuchtet
die
Ladekontrollleuchte (10) orange. Wenn der Ladevorgang
abgeschlossen ist, leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte grn.
Wenn die Kontrollleuchte (8) an der Oberseite der
Funkmaus orange leuchtet, ist der Akku entleert.
Stellen Sie dann die Funkmaus in die Ladestation.
Sollte die Funkmaus nicht funktionieren, schalten
Sie diese aus und wieder ein. Es kann auch hilfreich
sein, den Akku fr einen kurzen Moment zu
entnehmen.

Wenn ein Akku in die Funkmaus eingesetzt wird
oder die Funkmaus eingeschaltet wird, blinkt kurz
die Kontrollleuchte (8) whrend des automatischen
Funkabgleichs. Wenn die Kontrollleuchte erlischt, ist
der Abgleich abgeschlossen.
Die erforderliche Betriebsspannung fr den Ladevorgang wird ber den USB-Anschluss Ihres
Computers bezogen. Abhngig von der Bauart Ihres
Computers wird die Betriebsspannung am USBAnschluss abgeschaltet, wenn der Computer ausgeschaltet wird. Sie knnen den Akku der Funkmaus
dann nur bei eingeschaltetem Computer aufladen.
Den USB-Nano-Empfnger anschlieen
Wenn Sie an Ihrem Computer noch die vorherige Maus
angeschlossen haben, fahren Sie den Computer bitte herunter,
entfernen das Gert vom PC und starten den Computer dann neu.
Schlieen Sie den USB-Nano-Empfnger (12) an einen freien USBPort Ihres eingeschalteten Computers an.
Das Betriebssystem erkennt die neue Hardware und installiert die
erforderlichen Treiber automatisch. Abhngig vom installierten
Betriebssystem erscheinen dabei folgende Bildschirmmeldungen:
Bei Windows XP
Beim ersten Anschluss des Empfngers meldet das
Betriebssystem Neue Hardware gefunden. Warten Sie, bis die
Meldung Die neue Hardware wurde installiert und kann jetzt
verwendet werden erscheint, um die Maus nutzen zu knnen.
Bei Windows Vista , Windows 7

Beim ersten Anschluss des Empfngers meldet das
Betriebssystem Installieren von Gertetreibersoftware. Warten
Sie, bis die Meldung Die Gerte knnen jetzt verwendet werden
erscheint. Die Maus ist dann betriebsbereit und kann eingesetzt
werden.

Software installieren
Um den vollen Funktionsumfang Ihrer Funkmaus nutzen zu knnen,
mssen Sie die mitgelieferte Software installieren. Legen Sie dazu
die beiliegende CD-Rom in das CD-Rom-Laufwerk Ihres
Computers. Der Installationsprozess sollte automatisch beginnen,
andernfalls starten Sie die Datei SilverCrest SOML 807 A1 Driver
Setup V1.0.exe auf der CD-Rom manuell durch einen Doppelklick.
Nur bei den Betriebssystemen Windows Vista und Windows 7

wird die Installation zunchst durch die Benutzerkontensteuerung
mit der Meldung Ein nicht identifiziertes Programm mchte auf den
Computer zugreifen gestoppt. Klicken Sie auf Zulassen, um die
Installation fortzusetzen.

Die Bedienung
Umschaltung der Betriebsart
Mit der Taste CPI (9) knnen Sie durch einfachen Tastendruck
schnell zwischen den Auflsungen 800 cpi und 1600 cpi fr die
optische Abtastung umschalten. Die Abtastung wird bei 1600 cpi
prziser.
Um zwischen dem Standardbetrieb und dem Mediabetrieb der
optischen Maus zu wechseln, drcken Sie die Taste CPI (9) und
halten diese mindestens 3 Sekunden gedrckt bis die
Kontrollleuchte (8) kurz aufblinkt. Die verfgbaren Funktionen fr
den Mediabetrieb entnehmen Sie bitte der Aufstellung auf
Seite 98 - bersicht. Im Mediabetrieb knnen Sie die Lautstrke mit
dem Tilt-Wheel (7) durch Drcken nach links bzw. rechts
verndern. Im Standardbetrieb kann die Windows Lautstrke durch
Drehen des Scrollrades angepasst werden, wenn das
Lautstrkefenster in der Taskleiste aktiv ist.
Konfiguration
Fhren Sie einen Doppelklick auf dieses Symbol in der Taskleiste
(unten rechts auf Ihrem Bildschirm, neben der Systemuhr) aus bzw.

klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Symbol

Problemlsung
Wenn die Funkmaus nach der Installation nicht erkannt wird oder
nicht auf Eingaben reagiert, prfen Sie bitte folgendes:
Prfen Sie, ob der Akku mit der richtigen Polaritt eingelegt

ist.
Prfen Sie, ob die Funkmaus eingeschaltet ist.

Prfen Sie, ob der USB-Nano-Empfnger (12) richtig mit dem
Computer verbunden ist (siehe Seite 109 Den USB-NanoEmpfnger anschlieen).
Probieren Sie einen anderen USB-Anschluss.

Prfen Sie, ob der Akku aufgeladen wurde.
Sollte die
Ladekontrollleuchte (10) beim Ladevorgang nicht orange
leuchten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Maus ordnungsgem
in der Ladeschale steht.
Prfen
Sie den Ladezustand des Akkus und setzen Sie

gegebenenfalls einen neuen Akku ein.

Sie dass Sie eine Unterlage (z.B. Mousepad)
