To Whom It May Concern:
Thanks to the help of Leading Edge Natomas Charter School, I havent only grown as student, but
also matured as a person. I am both academically and socially prepared to move on to the next step of
my education, which is to attend Inderkum High School I.B program. The past three years at Leading
Edge have taught me to learn from my mistake, think independently, step out of my comfort zone
and try to perfect everything I set my mind to. I have not only developed, but also learned new skills
that will benefit me as I grow up in to adulthood.
At Leading Edge Academy we try to connect each and every one of our assignments back to the five
Pillars of Leading Edge: Building Leadership/Partnership, Critical Thinking/Innovative Problem-
solving, Technical Savvy, Appreciating Cultural Diversity, and Thinking Globally. Over the course
of my three year education here, I have implemented these pillars in to my school work. By doing
this, I have got on the Principal's List and Honor Roll on multiple occasion.
This school has taught me to become more socially active. Over the course of three years, I have
joined four clubs and one sport. Once I became a seventh grader, I truly grew as a socially active
person. I joined two clubs; Yearbook and Math Club, where I made new friends and found a new
love of photography. In eighth grade, I rejoined Math Club but decided to join a new club called
Magazine Club. During my eighth grade year I also I joined Track and Field.
Though it scares me to leave Leading Edge, I am eager to become an Inderkum I.B. student. I feel
that with all the preparation, guidance, and support that Leading Edge has provided me, I will
become a fine addition to the I.B. program.
