I believe
I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ! He is my savior as well as the rest of the world. Ive been raised
in church all my life and my family was even missionaries in Canada. Throughout my life and being
church learning about the lord Ive realized how many people dont know the Lord and it gives me a
drive to know more about the Lord so I can minister to others so that they may come to know the Lord
as their savior.
I lived in Northern Alberta Canada with my parents. My father pastored a church there for a
year. While there my faith in the Lord was strengthened. Many of the people there had never even
heard of the bible. The community was small with a population of around 800. The community was
native Canadians. They believed in a creator but they couldnt define the word creator.
The Baptist church had been established in the community for several years but was poorly
attended. The community had been offended by the founding Pastor. He came into the community and
basically told them that they were wrong about everything in life.
My family started visiting the families and inviting them to visit the church. We often heard
things like you guys are different, you guys are nice, and why do you care about us. My parents began
explain to explain salvation through Jesus Christ. Slowly people began to come to our house to hang out
and get to know us. Then people started coming to the functions at the church. When we left Canada
the church was full.
After Canada we went down to Montana where my dad helped in several different churches. My
dad got hurt in Montana and we returned to Ohio. Here in my Ohio my dad is helping out a church and
sometimes helps with FCA at our high school.
I am a firm believer in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in eternal life. I believe
it is my calling in life to help lead others to that saving grace.
