Context of the lesson

This is the first lesson in information security unit.

Teaching goal

The overall aim of the lesson is to teach the students information security and how to protect it.
Learning objectives

By the end of the lesson students will be able to know:-
- The Definition of Information Security
- How to protect information security by (Encryption-Password-Wi-Fi)


Assumptions about prior learning

I assume that some students in this lesson know:-
- The meaning of information security.
- Some of the methods of how to protect the security information.


Anticipated problems and possible solutions (Mention problems and solutions related to management, tasks
or students e.g


- Internet access is not working, so the students cant search in the internet about information security.
The possible solution is to provide handout with some information that will help the students with their
interviews.

- Some students feel shy to present their interview. The possible solution is to let the shy students to
search and the daring students to present the interview.

Personal focus for this lesson
- Eye contact
- Going around the class (monitoring).
- Speak in loud voice and using different tones.
- Make sure that the students in the class are organized and quiet.

Main tasks or activities


- Engagement: divide the class into 3 groups
and give each group 1 question before starting
the video.

- Body: divide the class into 3 groups and give
each group 1 topic and ask them to search about
it. Then, they have to make interview and
present it to whole class.

- During presenting interview: give groups
evaluation sheet and ask them to evaluate each
other.

- Ending: after the evaluation, teacher will
collect the results and will reward the best
group.
