What student prior knowledge will this lesson require/draw upon?

The students will have seen aspects of the water cycle in nature and will have an idea of what a play is.

How will you engage students in imagining, exploring, and/or experimenting in this lesson?

The video will hopefully get students excited and they will have creative freedom.

How will you engage students in routinely reflecting on their learning?

They will have to fill out an exit slip after the performances.

How will you adapt the various aspects of the lesson to differently-abeled students?

Advanced students could create more puppets or props for their play. The at-risk students could be paired with more advanced students.
