Australias rich history is
nothing without that of the
history and presence of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander history. I believe as a
teacher it is important to
incorporate the culture, cultural
identity and linguistic
background of Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander peoples,
as it is important for my
students to understand how
the Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander culture is integrated
into society and education.

classroom and gauge students

different fields in order to help
my students achieve success
in their learning.
I will consistently look to
broaden my knowledge of
different strategies that will
assist me in my classroom
teaching thereby renewing my
excitement and passion for
teaching.
