Chapter 7: Symmetry 7.1 Lines of Symmetry What is symmetry?


If a shape can be folded in half so that, one-half fits exactly on top of the other, then we say that the shape has got line symmetry. This fold is called a line of symmetry. Let us look around us for symmetry. In Imdina one can see many example of symmetry if one looks at the shapes and buildings.
