Historia de la tuberculosis
Primeras evidencias se encuentran en bisontes de hace unos 18,000 aos. Esqueletos humanos de la poca neoltica de unos 7,ooo aos AC ya la presentan.
Hipcrates alredor del ao 460 AC lo identifica y lo llama Pthisis que es el nombre griego de la tuberculosis, en ingls se le llamo Pthisis y en espaol Tisis. Hipcrates la describi como una enfermedad que produca tos, fiebre y hemoptisis y menciona que es practicamente mortal.

development of the antibiotic streptomycin that effective treatment and cure became possible. Tratamiento
Depender de cada caso pero por trmino general podemos decir que: Dependiendo la fase, debe de incluir: Rifampicina Isoniacida Pirazinamida Etambutol
Seguimiento
Cada persona infectada contagia a por lo menos 7
personas de las cuales no todas van a desarrollar la enfermedad. Un tercio de las personas en pases en vas de desarrollo estan contagiadas. Alrededor de 17 millones de personas la padecen. Lesiones cavitarias son las mas mayormente infecciosas.
