BOLD NEW LEADERSHIP OF
TOMORROW, TODAY!
If elected Butler County Commissioner,
I would like to see the following changes
made:
-Restructuring of the property tax
rates to allow for families and businesses
to keep more.
-Incentives and breaks for elderly,
handicapped and businesses.
-Bring in a private consultant to show us
where we can save money in the budget
without cutting Constitutionally and
Ohio Law required services (this was
done in the 1980s and worked better
than any other budget plan we’ve had)
-When we start seeing surpluses again, I
will not vote for additional spending.
Just because we have the money, doesn’t
mean we should spend it
-I want to see the weekly Thursday
meetings moved to the …
evening each week and only hold one
weekly meeting in Hamilton, the
remainder in different locations in the
county. We can once again make it
available to have the people involved in
the county government.
-Work more closely with businesses and
community leaders in Middletown,
Monroe and West Chester, so that we
can capitalize on the business potential
of the I75 Corridor.
-Work with the Sheriff and the
consulting group so that we can manage
the budget without cutting his services or
employees. The government’s biggest
responsibility is the protection of her
people.
Wes Retherford is a lifelong resident of
Butler County, Ohio. After graduating
Talawanda High School, he joined the
US Marine Corps. After receiving a
medical discharge, he returned home
where he currently resides with his wife
Leann and children Kaitlyn and Chance.
