APPLICATION The type B LA filter insert is manufactured specially for CJC TM Filter Separator units emplo yed in the filtration of mineral based oils of up to ISO VG 150 cSt and is used for, typica lly Hyd raulic oils Turbine lubricating oils Gear oils Diesel oils

FILTRATION CAPABILITY All CJC TM Filter Inserts have a filtration degree of 3 :m (micron) absolute (e quiv. to 0.8 :m nominal) i.e. 98.7 % of all solid particles >3 :m and approx. 5 0 % of all particles >0.8 :m are retained in each pa ss. The dirt holding capacity of a BLA 27/27 insert is 4.0 litres of eve nly distributed solids. Unlike type B filter inserts the BLA 27/27 will not permanently hold water as its free passage is integral to the water separation process.

To calculate the total increase in differential pressure, divide the viscosity with the number of filter inserts in a filter housing.
