Anne Frank

Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt Germany. She lived during World War II. In WWII there was The Holocaust. If you did not have blond hair you were either killed or put into camps. Anne Frank was unfortunate and was also born in this time period. About 11 million were killed by a man name Adolf Hitler. Aproxmently six million were Jews. Anne Frank had two parents and one sister. Her dad was a lieutenant in World War I. Her family was a normal Jewish family. Her life was about to change forever. When Hitler became chancellor of Germany her family moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands. She attended school and had a normal life. Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands On September 1, 1939 the Nazis invaded Poland, and then on May 10, 1940 the Nazis invaded the Netherlands. Anne Frank was forced to go to a segregated Jewish school. Her family was forced into hiding in the back of her fathers company building. Several weeks later another family moved in. Anne Frank and the other familys son had a bit of a crush on each other. Most days Anne wrote in her diary. On August 4, 1944 they were found and all Annes writing was messed up on the ground. The whole family all went to different concentration camps. When the war ended Otto Frank found that his whole family had died. And finally I twist my heart round again, so that the bad is on the outside and the good is on the inside, and keep on trying to find a way of becoming what I would so like to be, and could be, if there weren't any other people living in the world. Anne Frank is mostly known for her diary and writing. Miep Gies was one of the workers in the building. She kept all her writing in a drawer and after the war he gave it to Otto. Anne Frank did not only write in her diary, she was a different child then what Otto had thought. She was creative, wise, and had a depth of emotion. She kept her humanity in a chaotic world.

Writing

Anne Frank

in a diary is a really strange experience for someone like me. Not only because I've

never written anything before, but also because it seems to me that later on neither I nor anyone else will be interested in the musings of a thirteen-year-old schoolgirl. Anne frank was only 15 when she died. She died because of typhus. Her diary was published, and is know Anne Frank diary of a young girl. Anne Franks legacy will live on forever. Her courage should be a reminder to everyone that even in dark times you should not give up hope.
