Evidence from observation:

Thanks for the timely lesson plan. Please address value and importance in your planning. Names were called frequently and the climate for learning began in a good place. Start early to use individual praise. The superstar designation had an immediate impact on the classroom climate. You demonstrated the use of your behavioral management system. As we discussed, consider a change in your seating arrangement. Kudos for the print-rich room. Consider a change to less handwaving as you control verbiage by directing questions and comments to individuals. You affirmed answers. You used technology with the projector. Increase the pace by using assistants or individual white boards for evaluation. Hopefully, this would allow you to move more quickly and maintain attention more easily. Exude calmness and vary your speaking voice as to rate, volume, and pitch. You are off to a good start and are working hard. Next observation: 11/12/@9:30am. I should be receiving your mentor observation soon.
