I became interested in researching this a ter a discussion in my en$ironmental ethics class" .he teacher sho!ed a $ideo discussing ho! rene!able sources o energy are the !ay to progress and mo$e to!ard the uture" - ter the $ideo ended' I belie$ed that e$eryone including mysel had the same clich/ sense that !e needed to immediately change our sources o energy to sa$e the planet' but !hen the pro essor as#ed or general thoughts and comments' I !as shoc#ed !hen all I heard !ere criticisms o the $arious sources o energy that !ere sho!n" It had ne$er really occurred to me that by using these supposedly bene icial energy sources that humans !ere still destroying the en$ironment" I I did not #no! that these 0path!ays to a better uture0 !ere anything but' then ho! many others had no idea about these shoc#ing details that !ere ne$er brought up in our high school science classes)
