Life as liabilities and otherwise Human life can be defined as a stream of whatever we, the human beings, do and

feel in the time between our birth and death. Throughout our life we carry out voluntary and involuntary activities. We have to eat, breath, sleep and wake up and that sort of things which we usually (normally? do not have any control upon. They, sort of, happen and we go by. !f life can be seen as a chunk of space"time continuum, these involuntary activities are strewn around throughout it. #nd indeed $ there is the other type $ the voluntary actions. While the earlier type of actions have been thoroughly analysed and understood deterministically to a large e%tent by scientists, the later has remained a topic of debate in the academia. Though the contemporary psychiatrists and psychologists are coming up with answers to the &uestions that have come up during study of this type of activities of us answers to very many of the &uestions regarding life are yet to be found.

We act and react in life. 'ur actions may start threads of new reactions among which a few will once again be our own reactions. That way, if we take a statistical account of this, ! think, for a common man, life will appear to be a stream of many reactions " more than actions. (ature of these reactions will be based on our perspective to life. !f we look at life as a stream of liabilities which are to be gotten rid of then it is sure to bring stress upon ourselves, hindering us from en)oying life. *o the first thing to +feel+ is that life is not a liability. ,very moment is to be en)oyed the way one likes it. -ommon attitudes towards liabilities are. /isgust *cepticism Worry Hurry to get rid of (striving to get written off

#ll these attitudes are bound to invoke reactions which is necessarily something very much opposite to that of en)oyment. !f these are the motivations behind our reactions, we will become cynic and. Worries will mar our lives by every moment as a result of which morbidity will grow. 'n the other hand, if we look at life as something in which there could be something which we can en)oy, something out of which we can find happiness, our reactions will have a paradigm shift. We will not be eery towards everyday life. We will be feeling involved and passionate $ which gives meaning to living.
