List Of Experiments (To test PDMS microfluidic device)

Experiment 1: To construct a simple single channel of varying geometries to test the fluid flow. Sample considered as water.

Experiment 2: To design a Y- channel using two different fluids to observe the laminar regime and fluid diffusion Sample considered as water mixed with two different coloring dyes.

Experiment 3: To construct a narrow constricting channel to observe the fluid flow and back flow(if any) for different channel geometries.

Experiment 4: To test the above channels with blood and water as two different fluid

Experiment 5: To design a H- channel and observe the fluid flow from inlet 1 & 2 to respective outlet 1 & 2.

Experiment 6: Introducing microspheres (polystyrene beads) of different dimensions(10um-20um) with known quantity and observe the flow of beads and its efficiency of collection at the outlet.

Experiment 7: To construct a star channel with 3 inlets for sample focusing and observe the fluid flow.
