 INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS

PLANT DESCRIPTION

This plant provides for a wastewater treatment process performed in two different stages: a
physical pre-treatment for the separation and removal of grease, oil, hydrocarbons and solid
particles (sand or any other inert material), and a second stage for the chemical treatment
and filtration.
The main features of the plant are the following:
Physical pre-treatment performed by a Static Grease Trap, a Static Oil Trap and an Oil
Absorbent Filter installed in sequence.
Equalization Tank, a single piece made of polyethylene / GRP and designed to store
the quantity of clarified water necessary to feed the chemical treatment phase with a
constant flow;
Ecowater, the chemical treatment equipment designed by ISEA for flocculation,
coagulation and pH level control of pretreated water.
Filtration, achieved by sand and activated carbon filters to eliminate any residual
polluting substance prior to water re-utilization.
