Self-Dedication to Satan

For this ritual, you will need the following:

- 1 or more black candles (blue if you can’t find them)

- A bell (large or small)
- A clean, blank, piece of paper
- Something you can use to break your skin and draw blood
- A dry pen that will be used to sign your name in blood
- Something you can burn the paper in when the rite is done (preferably silver)

Now, on the piece of paper, write the following dedication:

“Hail Lucifer
Bright Morning Star
Keeper of this world
He who accepts the imperfect

My soul has heard your call

My heart has drawn close to you
Look upon me with love and favor
As I submit myself as your child

Today, I reject my old life

I reject the Christian God
And his son, the Christ
I spit upon the Holy Spirit
The trinity of conformity and fear
I embrace my dark lord
And take his ways as my own

From this night mighty Lucifer

I am yours and yours alone
I pledge my dedication to you
And seal it in the blood of my life

Hail Satan!”

When the time comes to perform your dedication, you should find a quiet place where you won’t
be disturbed. Light the black candle(s) and perform the Invocation to Satan. Once you have done
the invocation, recite the text of this rite aloud. While doing it from memory is best, read it if you
must and it doesn’t make it any less valid if you do.

When the rite is done, break your skin with whatever you’ve chosen to break your skin with and
tip the tip of your pen in the blood. Sign your name on the bottom of the paper in your blood and
spend a few moments contemplating your new dedication. Then, fold the paper into fourths and
set it alight in the fire of a candle. Allow it to burn in the bowl then, when done, scatter the ashes
to the wind while saying:

“So this rite is done! I now am bought by and committed to Satan.

My soul rejoices as his dark aura envelops me
Might, Satan, I am yours

So I have spoken!
So it is done!
This rite is concluded!!”
Ring the bell once to conclude the rite. You may then blow out your candles. Some of us stay to
meditate and worship until the candles burn out but there is no requirement to do so.
