Effective Communication (12th Grade)

For this assignment I was arguing how television and video games have brainwashed children and isolated our society from the outside world. Since there are filters to regulate the flow of information in mainstream media only partial truths are represented through television, radio, newspapers, and other sources of news; this is why it is important not to believe everything you see or hear, and why not to rely on things such as television for your sole source of knowledge concerning current events (i.e. foreign affairs/international relations; politics; local and national news). I feel that by the end of this paper I accomplished my ultimate goal of transmitting to the audience my thoughts and feelings concerning the focal points of my argument. I took the research Id gathered from various website articles and summarized it in a way that other people could understand.
