I chose to use a teacher work sample concerning two students who were in need of extra help.

The classroom teacher informed me of two students who were falling behind in learning punctuation and capitalization. I worked with these students in a group of two for these lessons. I came to know the students well in hopes of realizing how their lives affected their learning. My lesson plans were created to inspire each student. They were given in interactive ways to stimulate their interest in the subject matter. I was able to use different methods within each lesson to impact student learning as well as monitor each students growth. The ways in which the students became involved in the lessons, as well as their progress, helped in my decision for creating the following lesson. This work sample shows my ability to recognize and plan various lessons to impact academic growth .
