"The Office":This classwork assignment was extremely beneficial in applying the terms we learned in the second homework response.

Watching an episode of The Office served as an example to help us apply these terms. After choosing our own figured world to observe, we could use various things seen in the episode and find them in our own figured worlds. For example, an artifact such as a desk in the office can be applied to someone observing a coffee shop; a small coffee table in the shop can correlate with the desk as an artifact. This episode also helped us look out for different types of discourse communities within a figured world and in what they communicated with one another.
