Is a type of Internet fraud that seeks to acquire a users credentials by deception. It includes theft of passwords, credit card numbers, bank account details and other confidential information.

Determine if the nature of the correspondence is suspicious. Call the organization directly to verify the inquiry. Examine the email address of the entity that sent you the email. Provide your personal information only to websites that are secure.

How to detect Phishing?


You will see misspelled of URLs. Attacker sends a spam email to thousands of email addresses pretending to be from a legitimate organization. Plain text/Absence of logos.
