To Whom it May Concern, Ms.

Morgridge student taught at Parkview Elementary School, from August, 2013 through April, 2014. Parkview is a K-4 elementary building, comprised of a diverse population of students. The current enrollment has approximately 53% English Language Learners. Ms. Morgridge was assigned a first grade classroom, in a five person team of over 125 students. She has shown a true sense of professionalism. Punctuality, sincerity, and dedication were evident in her daily work. The same standard was mirrored throughout her experience. Ms. Morgridge displayed an energetic attitude and maintained a professional appearance and manner. Knowledge of the curriculum allowed her instruction to be targeted and showed a wide variety of child centered activities to meet the many needs of different learning styles within the classroom. Her lessons demonstrated confidence in her ability to have all students be successful learners and participants. This promoted self confidence and a higher level of self esteem in her students. Her kind and gentle way provided a safe environment for all to learn. Ms. Morgridge showed outstanding fairness and consistency in dealing with behavior management. The classroom climate was one of mutual respect, trust, and a sincere understanding of each students ability level. Her communication skill with students, staff members and parents was excellent. Lessons were delivered with directions being clear and concise. She had a gift of questioning techniques which elicited responses from all children. Students were comfortable seeking out additional help, which she gave readily. Written communication with parents was clear and accurate and sent home on a weekly, if not daily basis. I felt Ms. Morgridge was able to communicate with me on a professional level as well as an informal level. This made our working relationship very comfortable. She would not hesitate to ask questions and applied suggestions readily. I have truly enjoyed working with and watching her mature in her teaching ability. Without hesitation, it is my personal opinion, that Ms. Morgridge will be an outstanding addition to any school faculty. Her dedication to the education field, her outstanding organizational skills, and her exemplary teaching ability, leads me to believe that she has the dedication and knowledge to be a successful teacher and will have much to offer the teaching profession.
