It enhances keeping quality as well as flavour, colour and taste of vegetable and fruits. On the other hand it increases soil fertility and water holding capacity of plant.

1) Business concept: vermicompost and earthworm is main product of the unit. It will be sold to farmers and vegetable growers. Fertilizer leads to salinity of soil hence reduce the fertility of soil. For prevention of salinity vermicompost would be applied in the field. 2) Financial feature: production coast of vermicompost is Rs 2/kg, which will be sold @ Rs.8/kg. It generally takes two and half month for full preparation of vermicompost, accordingly Cash flow will be start after 2.5 month.
