5 Analyzing the collected data: Once the survey was completed and the answers were received, the next step was to analyze and interpret the information collected.

2.7.1.6 Data analysis design: The tools that have been used to analyze the data included tables and bar diagrams.

2.7.1.7 Data collection tool: The data was collected through a structured questionnaire consisting of 16 questions in closed ended format to be answered within a specified time limit.

2.7.2 SOURCES OF DATA: 2.7.2.1PRIMARY DATA: The primary data used while preparing the project report was a QUESTIONNAIRE in which a set of questions were asked to the respondents (cultivators) and accordingly it was analyzed and interpreted to serve the purpose of the project.

2.7.2.2 SECONDARY SOURCES: The secondary sources mainly used were books and website for deriving definitions , quotations, etc. which is further stated in the bibliography.

2.8 METHOD OF GATHERING DATA Since the project covers the cultivators it best suited communication technique rather than observation. For this purpose a questionnaire was designed keeping in mind the following points2.8.1 The question were objective type keeping in view the busy schedule of the farmers with yes (if they agree) and no(if they dont) columns.

2.8.2The questions were simple and easy to understand without any confusion. 2.8.3 The questions were short in length and direct.

2.8.4 The number of questions was limited i.e. keeping in mind their busy schedule.

2.9 PERIOD OF DATA COLLECTION The project took a period of 45 days for data collection. Since the farmers were busy in their routine schedule it took 45 days to get their views and opinion.
