-Joseph Stalin was born in Gori,Georgia December 18, 1878 -His original name is Loseb Dvhugashvili -Stalins parents were peasant -He was a primary architects of the postwar world -Stalin a good education even though he lived in a poor neighborhood

Propaganda Stalin used his propaganda department make posters to convince people of things that werent true Stalin had purges-periodic arrests that were if you were suspected of disloyalty the were murdered, sent to sent to prison camps, or put on public show trials at which they pleaded guilty to absurd crimes they could never prove or justify

Using propaganda and fear to manipulate the people. He manipulated things to his advantage to make it easier for him to rule.

-Stalin oversaw the post-war spread of communism throughout Eastern Europe. -Sometimes were violently enforcing soviet policies. -Millions of his own citizens died during his brutal reign.

Effect on the Country after Stalins Death


One result of his death was the resurgence on communist parties as a primary center of power. Decades after his death Stalins achievements still remain.
