Started a lesson on factoring. Watched presentation from former student. Reviewed the final exam. Began working on the Lego Project. Students described last semester as a movie (theme, stars, etc.), meant as a reflection. Discussed what they liked and didnt like. Learning about area of composite figures. Celebrate Gios 1st 100% on quiz. Learn the area of a triangle and parallelogram Students do independent work, copy out of book. No collaboration and off topic. Review problems before taking a partner quiz with appointments. Learn about adding and subtracting rational expressions. Start with warm-up in preparation for test on Friday. Work on word problems as a class. Went to computer lab to work on power point presentations. Helped students with their products. Teacher moves student seats because of behavior with a substitute. Goes over expected behavior. Gives a partner quiz with notes. Discuss performance on last test. Teacher is disappointed but will still allow test corrections, but parents will still be notified of grade. Practiced entering grades for teacher. Graded tests and created a quiz for next class. Gave a quiz on simplifying monomials. Graded quizzes and entered scores (Ms. Kelly liked the quiz we created!) Graded quizzes for her. Class works on finding the area of figures, walk around and help students.

Worked on a practice test and learned about real life exponential/log problems. Helped two students who were behind make their business plan Did a review of CAHSEE problems because it is next week.
