|EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

aul Bailey Hague. Residencies for Ministry of sound. This hardworking, versatile DJ,

gives exclusive information about him, his career and his favourite place to be!

Q: Where did you grow up and how/why did you start DJing? A: My home city is York, I love it there! And well, in York, I started DJing and promoting my own events when I was about 18. I love it so much. Its a great passion of mine. Q: Did promoting your own events help you? A: yes it helped me a lot! I started performing around York, even in the biggest club at the time Ikon. Thats when I started to become popular. I went on to perform with different artists and DJs, so without me promoting my own events, I wouldnt be in the position that I am in today. Q: Where do you DJ now? A: Mainly in the north of England like Manchester, York and Nottingham but I do perform in London too. Q: What is your favourite kind of crowd? A: Uni students 100%!!! They are crazy and such good fun. I do a lot of student nights just because its so great. Plus I residencies for Ministry of sound. Q: Have you ever DJed abroad? A: IBIZA! Last summer; that was so wild and such I good experience. Id love to do it again in the future. Q: Do you have any plans for the future? A: Im just taking it as it comes at the moment as I am loving what Im doing. But as I said before, I would love to travel more often. Q: Do you have any new music out? A: I am always making new mixes even though I do like playing some of my old things. If you want to view some of my recent music go onto my website! Id love you all to go and check it out!

Q: What would you say differentiates you from any other DJ? A: Just because Im so amazing! Haha, I am joking. I am just completely down to earth and I like to mix music that you wouldnt normally dance to. I wouldnt say Im better than any other DJ as I have role models that I look up to. I am still a growing process. Q: How did you get into creating mixes? A: Ever since I was a little kid, I always loved dancing to the big stars. My dad was very musical and got me playing the guitar but that wasnt dance. I then got my first DJ set and I absolutely loved it and my family and friends loved the music I created. Thats when I started promoting my own events.
