    The product shall have the following specifications: as per IS-294

    Moisture Free Phosphate as P2O5 Water Soluble Phosphate as P2O5

    12% (Wt.) Max. 4% (Wt.) Max 16% (Wt.) Max

    Process Description
    Single Super phosphate is manufactured by reaction of dried, ground rock phosphate with sulphuric acid. Rock phosphate is ground to fine powder in grinding mill in various stages and passed through various screens before mixing with sulphuric acid. Rock phosphate is mixed with sulphuric acid in a den where reaction is carried on. Diluent is added depending upon P2 ! content in the reacted mass. "he effluent gases from the plant are scrubbed and the li#uid effluent obtained is treated to bring "he effluent parameters with pollution control norms. "he product from den is allowed in a bin to cure and later granulated if re#uired.
