Nature of Problem The building consists of five (5) blocks which was left unoccupied. Refurbishment and renovation works to be carried out require some modifications to the la out and floor usage. The !olution !tructural assessment and testing works were carried to assure the integrit and stabilit of the building. "arbonation tests and core tests were carried out on the concrete structure. #esides$ a detail visual surve and desk stud were also carried out to establish the as%built details and to stud the effect of the loading change.
