By: Jessi Chipman, Lisa Dust, Dana Knoll, Sasha Gapczynski, Cassie Schulte, Emily Vance & Amber Vanderstow

Mission Statement
Munson Healthcare affiliated initiative that aims to improve sexual health and knowledge of its community's adolescents.

Philosophy
We believe that young men and young women are equally responsible for making decisions about sexual activity and preventing pregnancy. To empower young adults to make responsible decisions they must be provided with comprehensive and effective sexual education.

Goals
1. Ensure that teens have knowledge to access resources within their community.
2. Serve as an expert in adolescent pregnancy, prevention, and healthy sexual development.

3. Provide sources and supportive materials, training, and technical assistance to school systems.
4. Promote cultural shift within the community to recognize the ability of young adults to make informed choices regarding their sexual health

Objectives
1. Increase number of teens educated on sexual health throughout Northern Michigan.
2. Decrease rates of teen pregnancy within the schools NMTHI works with.

3. Reach out to all Northern Michigan schools during NMTHIs first year of practice to showcase services.
4. Increase knowledge of community resources available to young adults.
