Kindergarten Math Lesson 1 on 1 Context: Working with one student who qualifies under Developmental Delay.

. He has a one-on-one Para because he struggles with sitting and staying on task. He also cannot complete the tasks other kindergarteners can. During this time together we work on math skills, writing skills, and identifying skills. Goal: Student will be able to sit in his chair. Student will be able to do activities asked of him. Objective: Student will be able to place snap buttons on the material. Student will be able to identify letters/ order of letters by placing letter magnets in same order as they are presented. Student will be able to pick up poms and place them in to cups. Student will be able to write 1-10 with little help. Student will be able to verbally say 10-20. Student will be able to verbally identify animals and facts about animals. Content: 2 Minutes- Greet student, and review behavior chart 2-3 Minutes- Snap buttons on material (Student is working on different skills that he will be able to do independently. The first three activities we do everyday are to introduce him these different activities. 2-3 Minutes- Arrange letters by placing letter magnets in same order as they are presented. There is a metal lid that has two pieces of Velcro and two words are to be places via Velcro and then the student has to more letters into the box to match the word on the Velcro. 2-3 Minutes- Place poms from a basket into a cup using clothes pin. 2-3 Write numbers 1-10 2 Minutes- Orally count 10-20 3-6 Minutes- Go through animal cards and ask questions about each animal, such as wild animal? What does this animal say? 2 Minutes- Go over behavior
