GRAMMAR
I nfinitivo
En espaol sabemos que un verbo est en infinitivo si acaba en -ar, -er o -ir. En ingls
se sabe que un verbo est en infinitivo cuando el verbo aparece precedido de la
partcula to.
Eg.: To read (leer)
To be (ser o estar)
To go (ir)
Presente simple
El presente simple se usa para hablar de cosas que se hacen habitualmente, con cierta
frecuencia. Se forma con el sujeto ms el infinitivo sin to.
Eg.: el verbo to eat / comer:

Los verbos en el presente simple slo cambian en tercera persona singular
aadiendo, en estos casos, una -s.
Eg.: to make he makes
to read he reads
to eat he eats
Los verbos acabados en -s, -x, -sh, -ch, o en -o aaden -es en lugar de -s.
Eg.: to watch he watches
to go he goes
to mix he mixes
to do he does
Los verbos acabados en -y:
a) Si la -y va precedida de vocal, se le aade -s como siempre.
Eg.: to play he plays
b) Si la -y va precedida de consonante, la -y cambia a -i y aade -es.
Eg.: to study he studies
El verbo To have tiene una forma irregular para la tercera persona del singular:
to have he has
