Names/Nombres Test Extra Credit (due Thursday, 12/9)

We have read Homesick by Jean Fritz, Barrio Boy by Ernesto Galarza, Fish Cheeks by Amy Tan, and Names/Nombres by Julia Alvarez. All of these stories deal with the authors struggling to fit in to their homes and dealing with different ethnic and national identities. Write a paragraph in which you compare and contrast two of these authors and their attitudes towards their ethnic identities. Use at least 2 examples from each story to support your points. Your paragraph should have 2-3 sentences of introduction, make use of transitions, and reference specific details from each story.
