Poor are you

Whose language is rough, vulgar and unrefined; Who speak only about the local gossip; Who are tied to tilling the trash of the cities; Who scrounge for food and clothing day today; Who have the streets as your bedrooms; Who entertain yourselves by gambling your life; Whose only consolation is sex and children; Who are killed because you have rights and dignity; Who are murdered because you dream of being human in an inhuman world; Whose language is popular and cannot be understood by elite; Who speak of God as your only hope; Who are manual laborers ; Who are grassroots because you receive only dregs; Whose work is but a cog in a machine; Who have become invincible because you are but a mass of laborers; Who have no choice but to be demoralized; Who travel to find a job only to become illegal immigrants; Who cannot be a mother and father to your children because of forced overtimes;

Who are killed because you organize dirty, demeaned and dangerous laborers; Who sell your lives because they have murdered your families for the sake of ideologies; Who settle for the sub-human conditions just to fight for life; Who you are cheap laborers; Who cannot exercise your power as human beings; Who have no recourse but to undertake mass action; Who have to resort to violence in order to make news; Who make powerful impressions on the movie and TV screens but not in real life; Who are easily absorbed by the consumerist society; Who are objects of projects, programs and services which never progress; Who always need mediators when dealing with these mega -systems; Whose leaders distance themselves from the communities they serve; because they have more now; Who are killed because you cannot remain with the community or tribe; Who cannot challenge values of cultures, because you are a threat to civilizations and progress; Who are subjects of ideological and political change, because society needs social problems to be studied; Who, the one-billion people below the poverty line, because you are the cause of socio-economic retrogression; Who cannot live on the land you cultivate, because it will be industrialized; Who are grassroots organizations, because you are consulted but have no choice or access to the basic services of society.
