    Four separate earthing pits must be dug for diesel generators. Each pit should be 2 meters deep and 1 meter wide and long, located 2 meters apart. A copper plate measuring 1x1x0.3 meters should be placed inside each pit with a pipe welded to it and a funnel on top for pouring water. The pits should be filled with charcoal, salt, and sand. Copper strips of various sizes must be used depending on the generator size.
