Inagameofcraps,whenthedicecomeup7or11ontheshootersfirstroll,thatsGREATfor theshooter.Ifthedicecomeup2,3or12ontheshootersfirstroll,thatsBADfortheshooter. InBackAlleyBones,thosenumbersholdsignificanceinthesamewayfortheshooter: 7or11=GREAT,WOOHOO,WOOT 2,3,or12=BAD,BAH,LAMEZ0RZ

GAMESETUP(2PLAYERS)
First,eachplayerchoosesafaction(rats,squirrels,pigeons,roaches).Playersthenselectthe THREEShootersfromtheirfactionthatwillberollingbonesforthegameandplacesthemin frontofthem.Currently,eachfactionhassixtypesofShooterstochoosefrom:theDecoy,the Lookout,theSizzler,theCooler,theMojo,andtheFlex. TheneachplayertakestheSideBetdeckassociatedwiththeirfactionandplacesitnexttotheir Shooters. PlacethethreePointtrackdeckplatesinthecenterofthetablealongwiththeDecoy,Lookout andPointtracktokens. ShuffletheGrubDeckandsetitasidewithinreachofallplayers. ShuffletheGambleDeckanddeal5cardstoeachplayer.

Determinefirstplayerrandomly.Theplayersarenowreadytorollsomebones!

GAMEROUND
1.CHOOSEASHOOTER
Thefirstplayerpicksherashooterandplacesthedicetokenuponhimindicatingheisthe currentshooter.

2.DETERMINESTARTINGPOINTS<Rolltwodiceforeachdeckplateto setthePOINT>
Foreachdeckplate,theplayerwiththecurrentshooterrollsthediceandplacesthePointtoken ontothePointtrackequaltothenumberrolled. Ifthenumberrolledisa7or11,theplayerreceivesthetopcardoftheGrubdeckandaddsitto herGrubtotal. Ifthenumberrolledisa2,3or12,theplayermustdiscardaGamblecardfromherhand, chosenrandomlybyheropponent.

3.CHOOSESIDEBETS
BothplayersthensecretlychooseaSIDEBETfortheround,andplaceitfacedowninfrontof them.SIDEBETSarerevealedattheendoftheround.

4.CHEATANDGETLUCKY!
TheplayerwiththecurrentShooterplaysfirst. Duringaplayersturn,shemayplay1CHEATor1LUCKcarduponaPOINTtracktoinfluence itsvalue.ShemayalsouseanycharacterorSIDEBETabilitiesavailabletoher. PlayersalternateplayingCHEATandLUCKcardsuntilallcardsfromtheirhandshavebeen played.

5.DETERMINERESULTS
Attheendoftheround,ifanyofthePOINTtracksnowequal7,theShootergetstoretainthe dicetoken,andanewroundbegins. ForeachPointtrackat7,theplayerwiththecurrentShooterreceivesthetopcardoftheGrub

deckandaddsittoherGrubtotal. IfnoneofthePOINTSequal7,thedicetokenispassedtotheopposingplayerandtheShooter thatjustlostthedicetokenisflippedovertotheCrappedOutsideofhischaractercard, indicatinghecannolongerbetheShooterthisgame. ForeachPointtrackonLockdown(p.XX),thedefenderreceivesthetopcardoftheGrubdeck andaddsittoherVictoryPointtotal. TheShooteralwayscollectsGrubbeforethedefenderattheendofaround.

6.REVEALSIDEBETS
Beforethenextroundbegins,playersrevealtheirSIDEBETS.IfthetotalonanyofthePOINT tracksequalsachosenSIDEBET,thatplayerplacesthewinningSIDEBETinfrontofthemand theSIDEBETsabilityisavailabletothatplayerfortherestofthegame.IfaSIDEBETisnota winner,itisreturnedtotheplayersSIDEBETDECK.

PLAYINGLUCKCARDS
LUCKcardscanneverbecountered.However,thevalueoftheLUCKcard(1,2,or3)affects thevalueofaPOINTtrackexactlythatamount.PlayingaLUCKcarduponaPOINTtrackcan resultinaYOLEVEN,LUCKYSEVENoraLOCKDOWN.

PLAYINGCHEATCARDS
CHEATcardscanbecounteredbyTheLookoutorTheFlex.However,thevalueoftheCHEAT card(2,3,or4)isflexible.WhenaCHEATcardisplayeduponaPOINTtrack,declarethevalue oftheCHEAT(1thru4,dependingonthecardsvalue),andadjustthetargetedPOINTtrack accordingly.

YOLEVEN!
WheneveraPOINTtrackreaches11,theplayerwhoplayedthecarduponitmayrefreshallher exhaustedcardsimmediately. IfaLUCKcardisusedtoreach11,theplayerwhoplayedtheLUCKcardalsoreceivesthetop cardoftheGRUBdeck.

BoththecurrentShooterorheropponentcansnagaYoLeven!

LUCKYSEVEN!
WheneveraShootergetsaPOINTtrackto7asaresultofplayingaLUCKcard,theShooters playerreceivesthetopcardoftheGRUBdeck. OnlythecurrentShootercansnagaLuckySeven!

LOCKDOWN!
WheneveraPOINTtrackreaches2,3or12asaresultofaLUCKcardbeingplayeduponitby thedefender,thatPOINTtrackisputonLockdown!RemovetheblackPointtokenfromthetrack andputitontheLockdownsquare.GamblecardscannolongerbeplayeduponaPointtrackon Lockdown.

EXCHANGE
Duringaplayersturn,ifsheisunabletoplayacardfromherhandduetoDecoyandLookout tokensandtheMojoisunavailable,shemaydiscardanunplayablecardanddrawthetopcardof theGambledeck.Ifthedrawncardislegallyplayable,shemustplaythecarduponaPointtrack. Ifthecardisunplayable,shediscardsthecardandshelosesherturn.

GRUB
TherearetwotypesofGrubinBackAlleyBones:FoodandPharma.FoodhasoneGrubvalue andPharmahastwoGrubvalues. WhenaplayerreceivesFoodfromastandardSeven,aLuckySeven!,aLockdownoraYo Leven!,shesimplyaddstheGrubtoherGrubtotal. WhenaplayerreceivesPharmafromastandardSeven,aLuckySeven!,aLockdownoraYo Leven!,shedrawsthetopcardoftheGambleDeck.IfthecarddrawnisaLUCKcard,theGrub valueofthePharmaisthehigherofthetwovalues.IfthecarddrawnisaCHEATcard,theGrub valueofthePharmaisthelowerofthetwovalues.ThePharmaisthenaddedtotheplayers Grubtotalwiththecorrectcardorientation.TheGambleCardisthenplacedinthediscardpile. EachplayermustopenlydisplaytheirGrubtotalatalltimes.
