EXPERIENCE
Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, OH
Dietetic Intern, September 2013-Present. At the hospital, I work 40 hours per week assisting the
Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs) with patients. I assess
patients and plan appropriate nutrition interventions under the supervision of an RD. I counsel
and educate patients on healthy eating and specific diets. Through the internship, I have
experience at WIC, the School Lunch Program, and outpatient counseling. I also spend time
working in the kitchen for food service experience.
Stone Research Service, Bloomington, IN
Flex Shift Supervisor, September 2011-August 2013. I typically worked 20-25 hours during the
school semester, and 30-40 hours throughout the summer. Spring semester 2012 I took time off
because of a heavy class schedule. At the call center, I collected opinions for various clients over
the phone, monitored other interviewers on their interviewing skills, and trained new
interviewers. Before beginning the position, I was trained in telephone etiquette and customer
service skills.

Research Assistant, August 2012-December 2012. I worked in Dr. Flys lab for 6 hours a week,
where I labeled and entered data from surveys for the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program. I
was also shown how to do data cleansing through the SPSS program. I earned 3 credit hours for
helping in the lab.
Community Kitchen, Bloomington, IN
Volunteer, October 2012. I helped prepare take-out dinners for homebound individuals and
served meals through a cafeteria, tray line format.
IU Guides, Bloomington, IN
Volunteer Guide, August 2012. For the first two days of fall semester, I helped students find their
way to buildings on campus. I volunteered for 3 hours each day outside a popular building and
answered any questions students had about classrooms and places on campus.

Wabash County YMCA, Wabash, IN


Wellness Consultant, May 2009-December 2010. In this community fitness center, my
responsibilities included conducting fitness assessments on new club members, answering a
variety of questions about equipment and locations of specific areas in the building, and cleaning
and organizing the fitness area.
Babysitter, Wabash, IN
May 2010-August 2010 for Michele & Mike Weaver. My babysitting duties included watching
and entertaining 2 year old twin girls and a 6 year old boy, feeding the kids, playing games
outside and inside, cleaning up after the children, and creating arts and crafts projects.
Volunteers In Medicine, Bloomington, IN
Volunteer Intake Nurse, February 2010-May 2010. While volunteering at the free health care
clinic, I assessed and recorded patients vitals, helped them to feel comfortable while waiting on
the doctor, and organized charts and paperwork.
Hoosiers Outrun Cancer 5K Run/Walk, Bloomington, IN
Volunteer, September 2008. On race day, I helped set up for the race, register participants, and
clean up after.
Northfield High School, Wabash, IN
Summer Secretary, May 2008-August 2008. While employed over the summer, I was involved
in answering the school telephone, providing helpful information to students and parents, filing
paperwork, organizing fall school registration, planning following school years activity
schedule, and managing locker assignments.
Wabash County YMCA, Wabash, IN
Youth Basketball Coach, November 2006-February 2008. As a youth basketball coach, I helped
my dad coach my sisters basketball team, and eventually coached the team myself. I refereed
the game while coaching and helped the kids develop their basketball skills.
