 A Consultant Partner may be a member of an organisation who has interest in the project or
centre, expects to be called upon for expertise, but is unable to contribute money, personnel or
substantial time. They may be a supplier of services to the project, in return for fees.

 A Member Partner may be an organisation that has little or no time to contribute to co-
ordination, but could contribute money or has project workers who, because of their focus, could
work through the project or centre and/or could give training to volunteers and other workers
 A Core Partner could be someone representing their organisation to take a lead in co-ordinating
and monitoring the central aims and activity of the project or centre

Any kind of partner may buy or sell services with the centre/project, either via grant income, or
from other income, or in a barter arrangement. In any event it is advisable to write down agreed
participation and exchanges.
