According to the Hindu calendar , Navratras are celebrated four times a year . Two of them are known as Prakat Navratra or open Nanratra and the remaining two are known as Gupt Navrata or secret Navratra .The Gupt navratras come two times a year . The Gupt Navratra which comes in Ashadh month is known as Aashadhi Gupt Navrata or Varsha Ritu Gupt Navratra . And the Gupt Navratra which come in the month of Magh is known as Maghi Gupt Navratra or Shishir Navratra . Muhurat / Muhurta for Gupt Navratras is as follows :-
