2.5*2.5*1 cm. Skin measures 3*1 cm. Cut surface shows a cyst containing yellowish material 6 bits DR.MK MICROSCOPIC: Section shows skin with a cyst in the dermis lined by stratified squamous epithelium exhibiting abrupt keratinization. The lumen contains amorphous keratin showing focal calcification. An area of haemorrhage and fibrosis is seen with associated cholesterol clefts and foamy macrophages. IMPRESSION: Pilar cyst
