LIMIT & TORQUE SW.MECH.

SETTING THE SWITCH MECHANISM


CLOSE LIMIT SETTING TOOLS REQUIRED: SCREW DRIVER 1.SET THE TORQUE/LIMIT SELECTOR SHAFTS TO THE TORQUE POSITION.

2.ENGAGE HANDWHEEL DRIVE AND WIND THE VALVE TO THE FULLY CLOSED POSITION.
3.FREE DRIVE PINION BY DEPREESING SHAFTWITH A SCREWDRIVER AND TURN ANTICLOCKWISE IN DIRECTION OF ARROW ON CLOSE SIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM ( SHAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN THIS POSITION WHEN SCREW DRIVER IS RELEASED). 6

4.TURN SHAFT SLOWLY THRIUGH RATCHET POINTS IN

DIRECTTION OF ARROW UNTIL THE INDICATOR PIN IN SHAFT HAS TURNED AND IS POINTINGTOWARDS THE OUTSIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM AND SHAFT IS AGAINST THE NEXT RATCHET POINT.

5.IF THIS RATCHET POINT IS PASSED , CONTINUE TO TURN

THE SHAFT UNTIL THE INDICATOR PIN IS AGAIN POINTING OUTSIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM.

6.IF INDICATOR PIN IS ALREADY POINTING TO OUTSIDE OF

SWITCH MECH. , DONT AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT SWITCH MECH. IS SET, BUT CARRY OUT ABOVE INSTRUCTION(4)UNTIL INDICATOR PIN HAS COMPLETED A FULL TURN

SETTING THE SWITCH MECHANISM


OPEN LIMIT SETTING
TOOLS REQUIRED: SCREW DRIVER

1.ENGAGE HANDWHEEL DRIVE AND WIND THE

VALVE TO THE FULLY OPEN POSITION.


2.FREE DRIVE PINION BY DEPREESING SHAFTWITH

A SCREWDRIVER AND TURN CLOCKWISE IN DIRECTION OF ARROW ON OPEN SIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM ( SHAFT SHOULD REMAIN IN THIS POSITION WHEN SCREW DRIVER IS RELEASED).

3.TURN SHAFT SLOWLY THRIUGH RATCHET POINTS IN

DIRECTTION OF ARROW UNTIL THE INDICATOR PIN IN SHAFT HAS TURNED AND IS POINTINGTOWARDS THE OUTSIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM AND SHAFT IS AGAINST THE NEXT RATCHET POINT.

4.IF THIS RATCHET POINT IS PASSED , CONTINUE TO TURN

THE SHAFT UNTIL THE INDICATOR PIN IS AGAIN POINTING OUTSIDE OF SWITCH MECHANISM.

5.IF INDICATOR PIN IS ALREADY POINTING TO OUTSIDE OF

SWITCH MECH. , DONT AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT SWITCH MECH. IS SET, BUT CARRY OUT ABOVE INSTRUCTION(4)UNTIL INDICATOR PIN HAS COMPLETED A FULL TURN

SETTING THE SWITCH MECHANISM


DEPRESS AND TURN SHAFT ANTICLOCKWISE

TO MID-POSITION SO THAT IT SPRING FORWARD.


TORQUE / LIMIT SELECTORS SHOULD BE SET

TO THEIR APROPRIATE FUNCTION.
