Whie the level compensator provides compliance, vacuum is generated directly at the ‘suction cup, which improves response time for both attaching to and dotaching from a work pieco. Project costs are reduced because the plumbing components between the vacuum pump and level compensator mounted suction cup are eliminated, which also reduces assembly labor. Compressed air is supplied to the inlet port; vacuum is generated and supplied to the suction cup and the exhaust exits just above the cup fitting. Vacuum on/off can be controlled via a separate 3-way air control valve.
