BRINGING PEOPLE iwone Tooeruce JVS Scholarships Are Available! JVS offers scholarships twice per year through funding received from the Jewish Community Endowment Newhouse Fund. The fund can be used for tuition payments, living expenses while attending a tuifion-free program, learning supplies, or test fees. To apply for a scholarship: + Applicants must be Jewish residents of San Francisco, Sonoma, or Marin County or the Peninsula. + Applicants must demonstrate financial need. + Training programs must be short-term and focused on a clearly defined vocational goal for which there are ready employment opportunities in the Bay Area, * Grants are limited to $1,800 each.
